We are a social being that is why there are times that we seek companionship. Owning a pet also means having a loyal companion that we can treat as a best friend or even a family.

Since our blood pressure declines by owning a pet, and most of the time we felt affectionate due to our pet we then face every stressful situation gracefully since we felt more recharged.

3. Pet owners on average get more exercise, especially dog owners.

Since owning a pet is like having a best friend or another young family member there are times that we will set a certain time that we can set fun physical activities with our pet. We are getting more active physically by doing so, thus contributes to our good physical health.

4. People with pets are less likely to say they feel loneliness, which is one common source of stress.

The pets we usually own reflects our own personality. Dogs are usually outgoing which could match the outgoing personality of extroverts. Cats usually have this reserved behavior that could match the personality of introverts. Therefore we felt connected and could decrease the feeling of loneliness.
